This review is not about the Hospital In general more about the Bistro (cafeteria) We caught a bite here today, incase some went wrong today and we had to get to the room quick.
My wife had a severe abdominal pain. She woke up screaming and we went to the emergency room around 3 am. Meagan attended her until Dr. Deleon came in to check her up. The staff were professional and attentive. We stayed for couple of hours until the pain is gone.
I was induced at 7am and delivered my daughter at 11. Everything went smooth in labor and delivery and the nurses and anesthesiologist were amazingly helpful and quick! The delivery room was very clean and spacious. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the postpartum/recovery. The nurses weren't as helpful or attentive as the ones in delivery. Luckily I only had to stay the night and was out by 3 pm the next day!
The Bistro has a pretty nice plate lunch offering, that we missed. So we ordered from the Main Menu. Wife got a normal hamburger and fries. But i went for the Philly Cheese Steak. The older gentleman that prepared did and excellent job. The Philly might as well of made it at higher priced restaurant but for $4 I received a higher quality sandwich.
This hospital is where you go to live. Caring doctors and loving nurses... heck the entire staff has a fantastic attitude. Even the food is great. I have stopped by here to eat for lunch... it’s that good. Healthy too. Real food not processed institutional food. My mom is getting the best care possible. I’m grateful that she’s there. I sleep good at night. Thanks you @MethodistHospital for taking such good care of my momma !!!!!
My mother in law is being cared for today, having a lot of health issues. I stopped by to check on her and my wife.

Wow! This hospital has come a long way from when it opened a few years back. I was just here last week to deliver my second child at Methodist. Someone must be listening because this round I had a 5 star experience from the ER nurses to the labor and delivery experience. I've never experienced such caring staff. Everyone went above and beyond. I love the new policy changes and baby rooming in with the mother. I love they don't need to take baby away every 10 minutes anymore and the pediatrician comes right to your room. Methodist Richardson you really stepped up your game! Great job this round!!! And great job hiring such caring staff!!!
The prices of the menu or pretty reasonable and quality and taste very good.
