I checked into room 825 at 9:00 pm on 10 November, Friday 1. There were only two luggage carts, so I was not able to use the cart to help me bring my luggage in. 2. The room was freezing and even after 30 minutes, I was not able to get the heat to work. I had the setting on 84 and it never got warm. 3. There was makeup on the white duvet (bedspread). 3. There were two boys in the hallway playing lacrosse. I did call regarding the temperature and I was switched from room 825 to room 815. On Saturday morning I left the hotel at 8:00 am and I went to Panera Bread for breakfast. My plans changed so I returned to my hotel room around 9:30 am. I decided to leave my room to obtain ice and the two young men were in the hallway playing lacrosse again. As I returned to my room I told them and their parents that they should not be in the hallway playing lacrosse. I left my room at 11:30 am and I returned at 9:00 pm. I noticed a document under my door. It was a letter from the hotel management telling me that I needed to enter my room once every 72 hours. Why I was sent this document I do not know. First of all, I was only in the hotel for two nights, so there was no way I fit the criteria in the first place. Second, If someone had checked the computer for entry and exit, they would have know that I had already come back to my room around 9:30 am. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. What really made it worse was the document placed under the door. There was no safety issue, it was just harassment. I have provided images of the hotel room and the surrounding areas.

Nice facility...rooms, bathrooms, meeting room all clean and well maintained! Fridge & microwave in room! Lots of nearby restaurants. Great breakfast buffet included. Service was good in the meeting room. Front desk staff overall was the least impressive aspect. Several of them were short and grudgingly helpful. Gift shop closed midday...that was inconvenient for the students in my class.
I attended a wedding at the DoubleTree over the weekend and it was very nice. The staff was very attentive and polite. The front desk staff gave us warm cookies and they were incredible.
Very clean and nice! Me and my wife will do business with this hotel from here on...
Good experience overall, clean and great breakfast every morning. Only issue is the bathroom design is strange and gets water everywhere even if you spread the curtain, drain woukd seal itself, and didn't have a fan. Bar was nice with a friendly and fun staff.
